Paul Lapides
Information Visualization & Human Computer Interaction Researcher
I am a PhD candidate part of the InnoVis group, advised by Dr. Sheelagh Carpendale at the University of Calgary.
My professional interests are visualizing web & social data, intuitive & aesthetic design, HCI.
Broadly speaking, I work in the space between technology & society -- sometimes I swing to one side for a time, then back to the other.
My personal interests over the years include skiing, photography, climbing, travel, music, chess, and martial arts.
